Mt. Stuart Sparrows
Sparrow Clubs USA is a non-profit organization that is involved in "helping kids help kids in medical need." A school "Adopts" a "Sparrow" - a child with serious medical needs - and then gets students involved in community service projects that raise money to help out the "Sparrow" and their family. The "Sparrows" that Mt. Stuart has been asked to help, are the Carlson family. The Carlson family has 3 girls, all with medical needs: Katrina, 13 with Cerebral Palsy, and Rachel & Lorelai, 5 year old conjoined twins. This is a great opportunity for us as a school, and our students as individuals, to learn "real Life" lessons about caring and giving. CLICK HERE to learn more about Sparrow Clubs USA.
